Flank Attack

The Mounted Unit Type can use its special ability of flank attacking to change the Attack Order, and bypass the infantry in order to directly attack the artillery.

To do so, the opponent must have no more mounted units and the attacker’s mounted units must be protected by its Infantry. The probability depends on the numerical ratio between the infantries of the attacked and the attacker.

Calculating the Probability

The probability depends on the number of infantries of the army divided by the number of the opponent’s infantries.

If the quotient is greater than or equal to 2, the probability is: 0.8
If the ratio is 1-2, the probability is: quotient * 0.5 - 0.2
If the quotient is less than 1, the probability is: quotient * quotient * 0.3
